The hospital will be located at 109<sup>th<\/sup> Ave. and West McDowell Road.<\/p>\n<p>ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Avondale will be a 30-bed facility that is expected to treat about 650 patients annually. Physician-led rehabilitative services will include physical, occupational, and speech therapy; rehabilitative nursing; case management; respiratory therapy, dietary services, and other specialized care.<\/p>\n<p>Avondale Mayor, Kenn Weise, spoke at the groundbreaking, stating that the area has 41,000 healthcare workers to supply a large talent pool for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Avondale.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAs we talk about rehabilitation, we\u2019re referring to physical, occupational, and speech therapies,\u201d Weise said. \u201cAlmost all of us have had someone we know who has needed at least one of those treatments. Having a world-class facility like ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Avondale provide those services is extremely beneficial to our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Darby Brockette, CEO of ClearSky Health, also spoke at the groundbreaking, thanking Avondale\u2019s Economic Development, the city, and other partners.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re blessed to live in an area that has fabulous healthcare,\u201d Brockette said. \u201cClearSky Health is just proud to be a part of it. I commit to this community \u2013 every patient, every family member \u2013 that we\u2019re going to provide you excellence in rehabilitative care, resulting in high quality outcomes and\u00a0 patient satisfaction.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The planned 43,000-square-foot medical facility will feature private rooms, a rehabilitative gym, dining room, and an activity of daily living space.
