Additionally, as people age, the likelihood of requiring assistance with instrumental (such as cooking, banking, shopping) and basic (like bathing, dressing, toileting) activities of daily living (ADLs) increases.<\/p>\n<p>Giving caregivers the appropriate training, knowledge, and support significantly impacts patient outcomes. It\u2019s crucial for caregivers to feel confident, informed, supported, and equipped in their roles. Offering opportunities for knowledge-sharing enhances understanding and empathy, reduces stress, and strengthens the caregiving process.
