The new 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital is scheduled to open this fall in Eau Claire, Fla., and will treat patients with disabling injuries or illnesses caused by strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson\u2019s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically-complex conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Gonzalez is a seasoned healthcare executive with 18 years of clinical and leadership experience. A bilingual physical therapist, he has held diverse roles in healthcare facilities across Florida, Indiana, and Chile. Most recently, he served as the Director of Therapy Operations at a medical rehabilitation hospital in Cape Coral, Fla. Known for his ability to drive clinical and financial excellence, Gonzalez excels at fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, optimizing healthcare delivery, and implementing innovative, sustainable solutions to enhance patient outcomes.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHaving started my career in physical therapy, rehabilitation has always been my passion,\u201d Gonzalez says. \u201cAt ClearSky Eau Claire, we\u2019ll provide a specialized level of rehabilitative care to the community that currently isn\u2019t available. Our hospital services will complement the acute services currently provided in the area, allowing patients needing post-acute care to recover with the support of family members and friends nearby.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Gonzalez earned bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees in physical therapy from the Universidad Nacional Andr\u00e9s Bello in Santiago, Chile. He earned a master\u2019s degree in business management from the Universidad Adolfo Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez in Santiago, Chile, and a doctoral degree in physical therapy from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va.
