Kristin Glavin has been named Director of Marketing and Business Development for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Avondale, a new 30-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that will provide specialized rehabilitative care to individuals living with disabling injuries or illnesses. The hospital is expected to open June 2023.
In her role, Glavin is responsible for the hospital’s admissions department and will coordinate outreach activities to educate patients, families, community, and referral sources about hospital services.
Glavin brings more than 20 years of experience in business development, marketing, and community outreach to the hospital. She has worked in hospitals, treatment centers, senior care & living, and start-up healthcare organizations, including healthcare real estate sales and acquisitions. Previously, she served as vice president of sales for a healthcare brokerage firm, and as director of business development and marketing for a physician-owned healthcare network.
“My experience allows me to understand daily healthcare operations from the inside out,” Glavin says. “I can leverage my knowledge to be an efficient healthcare messenger to connect to the community, partner with referral providers, and create lasting partnerships for a strong continuum of care for patients.”
Glavin is a graduate of Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, Calif. She is a volunteer pet therapy handler, and supports community outreach for addiction recovery, first responder agencies, and senior and youth programs.
