The 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital provides specialized rehabilitative care to individuals with disabling injuries or illnesses, including strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson\u2019s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other medically-complex conditions.<\/p>\n<p>A registered nurse, Coffey brings nearly 15 years of nursing and healthcare leadership experience to her role. Most recently, she served as chief nursing officer at a 60-bed medical rehabilitation hospital in St. Louis, Mo., where she led nursing operations, workforce development initiatives, and patient safety programs. Prior to that, she was both the hospital\u2019s director of quality management and nursing supervisor, overseeing regulatory compliance and clinical operations. She also has held a variety of clinical nursing roles in orthopedic surgery, cardiac care, electrophysiology, and ophthalmic surgery.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m honored to lead ClearSky Lakeshore and work alongside a team dedicated to changing lives through specialized rehabilitative care,\u201d Coffey says. \u201cOur highly trained interdisciplinary healthcare team, advanced rehabilitation technologies, state-of-the-art facility, and patient-centered approach enable us to deliver exceptional care tailored to each patient\u2019s needs. I look forward to building on the hospital\u2019s strong foundation and continuing to enhance the care we provide to patients and families throughout the region, helping more individuals maximize their recoveries and regain their independence.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Coffey earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in nursing from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo., and a master\u2019s degree in nursing leadership and management from Western Governors University.
