These standards are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help hospitals measure, assess, and improve performance.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve accreditation, ClearSky Lancaster underwent a rigorous onsite review by a team of Joint Commission surveyors who evaluated the hospital\u2019s compliance with standards across key clinical and operational areas. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe Joint Commission accreditation recognizes our staff\u2019s efforts to provide safe, effective, quality care to our patients,\u201d says Stephen Sprockett, CEO of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lancaster. \u201cOur goal is to provide patients with excellent, specialized rehabilitative care that helps them regain independence, maximize their recoveries, and return to the activities that they enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>ClearSky Lancaster is a 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that provides specialized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or medically-complex conditions.
