ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lecanto will be the organization\u2019s first hospital located in Florida.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>At the groundbreaking ceremony, ClearSky Health CEO Darby Brockette said the hospital will focus on patient care and healing. \u201cWe often call ourselves a faith-based organization,\u201d he said. \u201cWe believe in all the miracles that happen at a hospital, particularly at a rehabilitation hospital where a patient can be admitted on a stretcher and walk out at the end of their treatment after 12-14 days.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Brockette credits the hospital therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with the quality patient outcomes. As we keep improving the quality of life for our residents, this is a win\/win for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Josh Wooten, President of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, agreed. \u201cThis project checks all the boxes,\u201d Wooten says. \u201cClearSky Health will employ high-wage employees, pay taxes to the area, and provide a needed services to our citizens. We\u2019re lucky to be the benefactors of that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The new hospital will provide specialized rehabilitative services to patients living with disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson\u2019s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically-complex conditions such as COVID-19.
