Nursing, therapy, case management, pharmacy, and dietary personnel are specifically educated in stroke rehabilitation techniques and intervention to ensure that a treatment plan is created to fit your individual needs.<\/p>\n<p>The depth and knowledge of our stroke rehabilitation program allow us to provide you with the highest standards of care, while maintaining the ability to adapt and advance the program by tracking our outcomes and adjusting the program as needed.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #0184b0\">Individuals who have experienced a stroke and come to our hospital can expect:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Individualized care plans that consist of evidence-based intervention strategies, that may include: <\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Bedside swallow evaluation by a speech-language pathologist<\/li>\n<li>Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES)<\/li>\n<li>VitalStim Plus to re-educate muscles to activate the power to swallow<\/li>\n<li>Free water program to maintain hydration and promote swallow recovery<\/li>\n<li>Brain Break program for scheduled therapeutic rest periods<\/li>\n<li>Timed voiding program to improve continence<\/li>\n<li>Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS) for vision, motor, cognition, and balance training<\/li>\n<li>Patient\/family education and training to identify risk factors and learn secondary stroke prevention<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Patient-centered care, with active participation by you and your family regarding your recovery process.
