Services provided in other settings can\u2019t match the higher level of care found at medical rehabilitation hospitals.<\/p>\n<p><em>Medical rehabilitation hospitals are required to:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Be licensed and accredited<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Use an interdisciplinary team approach to care<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Have a physician with specialized rehabilitation training supervise medical services<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Provide rehabilitative nursing 24\/7<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Offer patients therapy for a minimum of 15 hours a week<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, a national study shows that patients receiving rehabilitative care at inpatients hospitals return home sooner, remain home longer, have fewer hospital readmissions and ER visits, and live longer versus those treated at nursing homes or skilled nursing facilities.<\/p>\n<p>At our hospital, patients interact and set individual goals with an interdisciplinary team that includes a physician, along with specially trained healthcare professionals in physical, occupational, and speech therapy; rehabilitative nursing; case management; respiratory therapy; dietary services; and other specialized services.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><div class=\"flex_column av_one_third  flex_column_div   avia-builder-el-5  el_after_av_two_third  avia-builder-el-last  \" style='background: #f9f9f9; border-width:5px; border-color:#ffffff; border-style:solid; box-shadow: 0 0 10px 0 #dddddd; padding:20px 15px 0px 20px ; background-color:#f9f9f9; border-radius:0px; '><p><div  style='padding-bottom:0px; color:#666666;font-size:22px;' class='av-special-heading av-special-heading-h2 custom-color-heading blockquote modern-quote  avia-builder-el-6  el_before_av_postslider  avia-builder-el-first  av-inherit-size '><h2 class='av-special-heading-tag '  itemprop=\"headline\"  >Recent Blogs\/News<\/h2><div class ='av-subheading av-subheading_below av_custom_color ' style='font-size:15px;'><p>We invite you to view our recent blogs and news.
