The flu can cause body aches, sore throat, fever, and even serious respiratory issues. Flu symptoms appear 1 to 4 days after exposure and can last from a few days to two weeks. The flu is most contagious 3-4 days after symptoms start but can spread up to a week after. Since flu symptoms can be similar to COVID, testing is key to know which one you\u2019re dealing with.<\/p>\n<p>The flu spreads through droplets from coughing, sneezing, or touching contaminated surfaces.
