Laheji Named Medical Director of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Flower Mound

Dr. Junaid Laheji has been named Medical Director of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Flower Mound. The 41-bed medical rehabilitation hospital provides specialized rehabilitative care to individuals with disabling injuries or illnesses, including strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other medically-complex conditions. Board-certified in family medicine, Laheji brings a strong background in clinical care, medical education, and leadership to his role. He currently serves as a hospitalist at a regional healthcare system in Waxahachie and previously served on the faculty of a newly established family medicine residency program. Earlier in his career, he was an instructor preparing medical students for the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.

In his role at ClearSky Flower Mound, Laheji will oversee the hospital’s interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy; rehabilitative nursing; case management; and other specialized services.

Laheji earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington and a medical degree from the American University of Antigua. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians
and the Texas Medical Association.
