Watkins Named Chief Executive Officer of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Flower Mound

Tracie Watkins has been named Chief Executive Officer of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Flower Mound. The hospital provides specialized rehabilitative care to individuals living with disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically-complex conditions such as COVID-19.

Bringing 21 years of clinical and managerial expertise in hospital operations to her role, Watkins offers a forward-thinking mindset and demonstrated track record of achievement. She joins ClearSky Flower Mound after serving as CEO of a 40-bed hospital in San Angelo, Texas. She also has served in clinical leadership roles for other medical facilities throughout Texas, with experience in all clinical activities, including nursing, wound care, infection control, respiratory therapy, lab, and radiology.

“I started my career as a registered nurse, so my passion has always been in healthcare,” Watkins says. “I’m excited to join a team of like-minded healthcare professionals at ClearSky Flower Mound as we continue to provide a specialized level of rehabilitation to the community. Watkins earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s in business administration from Angelo State University in Angelo, Texas.
