Hauk Named CEO of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Kenosha

Julie Hauk has been named Chief Executive Officer of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Kenosha. The 39-bed medical rehabilitation hospital will open in the fall and be located within the Palmer Tower of Froedtert Kenosha Hospital. The hospital will treat patients with disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically-complex conditions such as COVID-19.

Hauk brings more than 17 years of extensive experience to her role, which includes developing and directing successful business plans, day-to-day operations, process improvement, finance, and development. She has been in leadership roles across medical rehabilitation hospitals in Montana, Ohio, and Wyoming, having served on executive teams as chief executive officer and chief financial officer. Most recently, she led the revenue cycle process, including patient access, facility, and professional billing, at an acute care hospital in Michigan.

“I’m excited to lead a new medical rehabilitation hospital that will provide a service to the area that’s not available otherwise,” Hauk says. “Throughout my career, I’ve seen first-hand how exceptional rehabilitative care can truly change the course of patients’ recoveries so they can gain independence and return back to their homes and the activities they enjoy. I can’t wait to be a part of providing that treatment and care here in Kenosha.”

Hauk earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in executive leadership from Central Michigan University, in Mount Pleasant, Mich. She earned a bachelor’s of business administration in accounting and management from Baker College, and a doctoral degree in leadership from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky.
