Tanner Named Marketing Director of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lecanto

Monica Tanner has been named Director of Marketing and Business Development for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lecanto, a new 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that will open this fall.

ClearSky Lecanto will treat patients with disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically-complex conditions like COVID-19. Tanner will be responsible for the admissions department and will coordinate activities to educate patients, families, community, and referral sources about the hospital’s services.

Tanner brings more than 18 years of healthcare expertise to her role, previously serving as director of strategy and integration at a rehabilitation hospital in Florida. She has held various positions in acute, post-acute, medical equipment, assisted living, memory care, and home health organizations, leading quality assurance, marketing, sales, and referral efforts.

“I’m excited to help open a new hospital that will provide a higher level of specialized rehabilitative care to the area,” Tanner says. “My goal is to help educate the community, referral sources, patients, and their family members about the benefits of receiving this level of care and how it can maximize recovery. It’s especially important to understand that they have the right to choose where they want to receive rehabilitative care.”
