Hudson Selected as Chief Executive Officer of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Rockwall County
Jason Hudson recently was named Chief Executive Officer of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Rockwall County. The new 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital is scheduled to open this fall in Heath, Texas, and will treat patients with disabling injuries or illnesses caused by strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically-complex conditions.
Hudson brings three decades of healthcare experience to his role, having started his career as a licensed vocational nurse. He has since held a range of patient care and leadership positions, including more than eight years of managing inpatient rehabilitation operations at hospitals and facilities in New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Texas. Most recently, he served as CEO of an acute rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospital in Victoria, Texas.
“Healthcare has always been my passion, as reflected in my career in nursing,” Hudson says. “At ClearSky Rockwall County, we’re bringing a much-needed level of specialized rehabilitative care to the community – care that hasn’t been available locally until now. By offering this advanced care close to home, we help patients and their families avoid the financial and emotional strain of traveling, taking time off from work, or staying overnight in another town while a loved one receives treatment.”
Hudson earned a licensed vocational nurse certification from Odessa College in Odessa, Texas. He earned his associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. He also holds certifications as an Emergency Medical Technician and as a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse.
