ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Avondale Accredited by The Joint Commission

ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Avondale recently was accredited by The Joint Commission, earning the organization’s Gold Seal of Approval® by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a healthcare organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

​ClearSky Avondale is a 30-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that provides specialized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or medically-complex conditions, such as COVID-19.

ClearSky Avondale underwent a rigorous onsite review to earn the accreditation. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission surveyors evaluated compliance with ClearSky Avondale’s standards related to several areas. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

The Joint Commission’s hospital standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts, and patients. Standards are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help hospitals measure, assess, and improve performance.
