King Selected as Marketing Director for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Elwood-St. Joseph

Amy King recently was named Director of Marketing and Business Development for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Elwood-St. Joseph. ClearSky Elwood-St. Joseph is a 30-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that provides specialized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or medically-complex conditions like COVID-19.

A registered nurse, King brings more than 17 years of experience to her role having held patient care and leadership positions in rehabilitation, hospice, and acute healthcare. Her experience includes case management, compliance, clinical education, patient care coordination, marketing, and business development.

In her role at ClearSky Elwood-St. Joseph, King will lead the admissions department and coordinate marketing efforts to educate patients, families, communities, and referral sources about the hospital’s services.

King was a certified nursing assistant prior to attending Hillyard Technical Center in St. Joseph, Mo., to become a licensed practical nurse. She then earned an associate of science degree in registered nursing from North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Mo.
