Dillon Named Director of Marketing and Business Development of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake City

Amber Dillon recently was named Director of Marketing and Business Development for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake City. The 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital provides specialized rehabilitative care to individuals recovering from disabling injuries or illnesses.

In this role, Dillon will lead the hospital’s admissions department and coordinate marketing and community education initiatives to inform patients, families, and referral sources about the hospital’s services.

A registered nurse, Dillon brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience to her position, including 18 years in leadership, quality, operations, marketing, and business development. Most recently, she served as chief nursing officer for a long-term acute care hospital in Gainesville, Fla. Previously, she held leadership roles with large acute-care hospitals and health systems in Florida and Indiana, where she led clinical operations, quality initiatives, strategic growth, business development, and marketing.

“My nursing and leadership experience has given me a strong understanding of the importance of patient-centered care and the healthcare needs of the communities I’ve served,” Dillon says. “I look forward to building relationships with patients, families, physicians, and referral partners while helping individuals understand the benefits of specialized rehabilitation services and the resources available to support their recovery and independence.”

Dillon earned a master’s degree in nursing leadership and management from Western Governors University in Indianapolis, Ind. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Ind., and an associate’s degree in nursing from Henderson Community College in Henderson, Ky. She is a board-certified nurse executive and board-certified cardiovascular nurse.
