Dr. Gregory Burton has been named Medical Director of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Baytown. In this role, he will lead the interdisciplinary healthcare team in providing patient services that include physical, occupational, and speech therapy; rehabilitative nursing; case management; respiratory therapy; dietary services; and other specialized care.
Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Burton brings more than 30 years of experience to his role, having served in medical leadership roles in rehabilitation and acute care hospitals throughout Texas. He also has served as a clinical assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Burton earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich., and completed a residency in family medicine and in physical medicine & rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, National Medical Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Harris County Medical Society, and the Houston Medical Forum. He has served on numerous committees throughout his career.
