ClearSky Health, a premier national provider of rehabilitative healthcare services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Adam Carter as the organization’s new Chief Medical Officer (CMO). In this capacity, Carter will oversee medical operations and continue to advance ClearSky Health’s commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Alongside his duties as CMO, Carter also serves as the Medical Director of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Flower Mound in Texas.

Carter brings more than 20 years of experience to this position. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and has had a distinguished career in physiatry. Prior to joining ClearSky Health, he served as the national medical director for an inpatient rehabilitation system with 20 hospitals across 11 states.

Their dedication to the rehabilitative outcomes of our patients and their families echoes my own. My goals as CMO are three-fold: to assure that the care we provide produces the best outcomes for our patients, to maintain access to post-acute care, and to provide a voice for our talented and hard-working caregivers.”
Carter is involved in many professional organizations, including serving as president of the Dallas-Fort Worth Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Society, as a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He also is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and the American Medical Association.
