ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Avondale recently named Michelle Stelling as its new Director of Marketing and Business Development. ClearSky Avondale is a 30-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that provides specialized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or medically complex conditions.
Stelling is an accomplished business development professional and has held several leadership roles in medical facilities across Arizona. She has experience in direct hospital admissions, new business development, and referral partnerships. She designed sales and marketing plans and collateral, which consistently resulted in the growth of the market share referral base and volume increases. Before joining ClearSky Avondale, Stelling worked as a senior clinical rehabilitation liaison for an organization that provides services within the acute rehabilitation hospital segments.
In her new role, Stelling will lead the admissions department and coordinate marketing efforts to educate patients, families, and the community about the hospital’s services.
Stelling earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Ariz., and an associate’s degree in health and human services from Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Neb. She is a former member of the Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s Center professional organization.
