Glenn Piche has been named Chief Executive Officer of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lecanto. The 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital will open this fall and treat patients with disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically-complex conditions such as COVID-19.
Piche brings more than 20 years of healthcare expertise to his role, including experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care, physiatry services, hospital leadership, business development, and physician alignment and recruiting. Most recently, he led business development efforts with a national rehabilitation provider and a rehabilitation management organization. He has served as CEO previously for a long-term acute care hospital and a start-up inpatient rehabilitation hospital, and has served in numerous leadership, business development, marketing, and sales positions within other post-acute care organizations.
“Throughout my career, I’ve seen the successful results patients have experienced when provided high-quality inpatient rehabilitation,” Piche says. “It’s rewarding to be able to bring this level of care to the Lecanto area so we can maximize patients’ recoveries and help them return home quickly with as much independence as possible. Piche earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science/chemistry from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich. He earned a master’s in business administration from Suffolk University in Boston
